Voting Absentee

Voting Absentee: Due to Covid-19 the Secretary of State has simplified absentee voting requirements for the upcoming Municipal Election. In an effort by the City of Glencoe to keep our citizens safe from Covid-19, we are allowing citizens the option to vote absentee at City Hall. Please bring face covering with you. Elections and Voting

The City Clerk is charged with maintaining the registered voter list. In order to ensure accurate records, you are encouraged to visit the Etowah County Board of Registrar to update your voter’s registration. During election times, citizens vote at the Glencoe Senior Center. Please bring a Photo ID with you. Regarding the Glencoe Post Office

The United States Postal Service advised Congressman Robert Aderholt that there is no plan to close the Glencoe Post Office at this time. The hours of operations will remain the same (8:30 AM until 12:00 PM).
