Glencoe Drainage Project, a Joint Effort

The City of Glencoe, State Senator District 10 Andrew Jones, State Representative District 30 Craig Lipscomb, State Representative District 28 Gil F. Isbell, and Community Development Board members Bobby Jordan, Robert Smith, and Billy Harris all worked together to alleviate a drainage problem in North Glencoe.

City of Glencoe mayor and city council applied for Community Development Board funding from district 30 and 28 to purchase pipe and repair roads and driveways where pipe sizes had to be upgraded. The City of Glencoe Public Works Department provided the manpower and equipment for the project.

The joint effort should help alleviate drainage problems in several north Glencoe neighborhoods.

Glencoe mayor Charles Gilchrist and city council members want to thank our state representatives and community development board members for making this much needed project possible.
