In accordance with CDC and Alabama Department of Health guidelines.
Glencoe City Hall will remain open for essential business. Public will be allowed in front lobby only. All employees will be screened daily by department heads for symptoms.

  1. Glencoe City Council passed a resolution declaring a state of emergency in the city beginning 9:00 am March 17, 2020.
  2. Glencoe Senior Center will be closed until further notice.
                Senior meals will be made daily as usual but                          distributed as to - go plates only. Shut-ins meals                    will still be delivered daily.
  1. Glencoe Library will be closed until further notice.
  2. City of Glencoe Easter Egg hunt has been cancelled.
  3. City of Glencoe Celebration in the Park has been cancelled.
  4. All Youth sports on city property has been cancelled until further notice.
  5. Glencoe city parks will be open and limited to daylight hours only. Groups are limited to no more than 10 people, until further notice.
  6. Glencoe Waterboard business is limited to drive thru window only, until further notice.
  7. City of Glencoe Court has been postponed until May 6, 2020 and Driving School postponed until May 28, 2020.
