Election and Voting

The City Clerk is charged with maintaining the registered voter list.  In order to ensure accurate records, you are encouraged to visit the Etowah County Board of Registrar to update your voter’s registration.  During election times, citizens vote at the Glencoe Senior Center.  Please bring a Photo ID with you. 

Voting Absentee: 

Due to Covid-19 the Secretary of State has simplified absentee voting requirements for the upcoming Municipal Election.

In an effort by the City of Glencoe to keep our citizens safe from Covid-19, we are allowing citizens the option to vote absentee at City Hall. Please bring face covering with you. Hand sanitizer will be available.
 
To protect your privacy and minimize the possibility of meeting other individuals,  CITY HALL HAS PRIVATE ROOMS AVAILABLE TO FILL OUT YOUR 
APPLICATIONS AND BALLOT.
 
IDENTIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED TO RECEIVE AN ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATION AND BALLOT.
BALLOTS ARE AVAILABLE NOW AND VOTING WILL BE OPEN 8AM - 4PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY THROUGH AUGUST 24TH.
